April 20, Trinity University of Asia and Maxicare held a contract signing at the Carson Hall conference room. Present during the contract signing were TUA University President, Dr. Josefina Sumaya; Vice President for Administration and Finance, Mrs. Leonora Yngente; Human Resources Director, Mr. Jerico Buñing; Maxicare President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jose Pastor Puno; Senior Vice President for Sales, Marketing and Customer Care, Ms. Josephine Aguilar; and Vice President for Underwriting and Actuarial, Mr. Victor Tanjuakio.
Likewise present to witness the contract signing were: TUA Finance Director, Mrs. Matilde Asuncion; Medical and Dental Director, Dr. Bienvenido Gaddi; Supply and Procurement Director, Mrs. Rosalie Cabrera; Human Resources Assistant, Mrs. Nora Sambalido; Maxicare Sales Manager - New Business, Mr. Franz Joie Araque, Assistant Vice President for New Business, Ms. Rodelee Uy, and Corporate Accounts Officer, Ms. Fiona Marie Lava.
A memorandum from the Human Resources Director, Mr. Jerico Buñing, dated July 30, announced that TUA administration and Maxicare agreed to extend the health care package and benefits to TUA employees' dependents. Premiums of TUA employees' dependents would be paid through salary deduction, which shall be deducted every 15th for nine months.
Finally, the Human Resources Department announces that the annual medical check-up is scheduled on September 12-14, 2007. Said annual medical check-up will be held at the Health Sciences Center conference room and the following routine examinations will be done by Maxicare health examiners: (1) routine physical exam, (2) complete blood count (CBC), (3) urinalysis, (4) fecalysis, (5) chest X-ray, (6) electrocardiogram (ECG) for members age 40 years old and above, and (7) Pap smear for members 40 years and above.
