SLCN FACULTY & STAFF GETS 1 MONTH SALARY BONUS by Maria Cristina Gorrospe

On an interview with Trinity University of Asia St. Luke's College of Nursing Dean, Prof. Gisela Luna, she happily announced that on August 30, TUA Board of Trustees (BOD), thru a signed resolution, gave St. Luke's College of Nursing (SLCN) permanent faculty and non-teaching personnel a one-month salary incentive bonus for having said college land as top overall in the June 11-12 Nurses Licensure Examinations.

In the bracket of schools with 100 examinees or more, TUA topped the list with 99% passing percentage (343 passed out of 347 examinees), followed by St. Louis University - Baguio City, 99% (299 passed out of 302 examinees), St. Paul's University - Iloilo City, 99% (163 passed out of 164 examinees), University of Santo Tomas, 98% (577 passed out of 587 examinees), University of the East - Ramon Magsaysay, 97% (214 passed out 221 examinees), West Visayas State University, 97% (142 passed out of 146 examinees), and St. Paul University - Manila, 97% (97 passed out of 100 examinees).

This year was the first time TUA SLCN ranked first amongst the roster of schools, colleges and universities offering the nursing program. Oath taking of the successful examinees will be on October 2, 1:30 pm at the Araneta Coliseum.
