SLCN CELEBRATES CENTENNIAL ANNIVERSARY by Armie Lim

Trinity University of Asia (TUA), St. Luke's College of Nursing (SLCN) will celebrate its 100 Years Anniversary on October 5-7 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. On its third day of celebration, Trinity University of Asia will sponsor the event.

The Centennial Celebration will include a motorcade, unveiling of the Centennial Marker in front of the Health Sciences Center, a tour of St. Luke's Medical Center and Trinity University of Asia for guests and alumni from abroad, and a barrio fiesta lunch.

Highlighting the first day of the celebration will be the keynote address of Mr. Robert Kuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of St. Luke's Medical Center and the awarding of the Centennial awards, which will be given to Trinitian alumni who have excelled in the fields of nursing administration, education, and community service.

Said celebration is made possible by the collaborative work between the Trinity - St. Luke's Nurses' Alumni Association (SLNAA), Chaired by Ms. Ruth Padilla, and SLCN Centennial Celebration Committee which is chaired by the Dean of the St. Luke's College of Nursing, Prof. Gisela Luna, and co-chaired by TUA Vice President for Administration and Finance, Mrs. Leonora Yngente.
